R. Praggnanandhaa and R. Vaishali | Chess (India)
Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa and his sister Vaishali Rameshbabu are luminaries in the chess world. From Chennai, India, these siblings have risen to prominence with their strategic brilliance and composure on the chessboard.
Praggnanandhaa, known for his rapid and aggressive playstyle, has consistently been hailed as one of the youngest grandmasters ever. In 2025, Praggnanandhaa became the No. 1-rated player in India.
Vaishali, equally formidable, has earned the title of Woman Grandmaster in 2024 and is making significant strides in international chess circuits.
Both the brother and sister are recipients of the Arjuna Award, the second-highest sporting honour of India.

Annabel Sutherland and Will Sutherland | Cricket (Australia)
Australia’s cricketing world has also seen sibling synergy in Annabel and Will Sutherland. Representing the new generation of Australian cricketers, Annabel has impressed with her all-round performances in women’s cricket.
Will, on the other hand, is making a steady ascent in men's cricket with promising performances as a bowler and a batsman.
Annabel has already played 45 WT20Is and 46 WODIs along with 6 Women's Tests. Meantime, Will, the young all-rounder, has played only 2 ODIs for Australia so far.

Gareth Delany and Laura Delany | Cricket (Ireland)
Representing Ireland, Gareth Delany and Laura Delany have become prominent figures in cricket. Gareth has been known for his dynamic batting and fielding skills in Irish men’s cricket, while Laura has captained the Ireland women’s team with distinction.
Gareth has already featured in 21 ODIs and 80 T20Is for the Irish team, while Laura has played 125 WT20Is and 72 WODIs for Ireland.

Lauren and Reece James | Football (England)
Lauren and Reece James are one of the most famous brother-sister pairs in the football world. Interestingly, they both play for Chelsea Football Club, although Lauren had started her career with Arsenal Women’s in 2017.
Lauren is the youngest of them, while Reece is two years older than her sister. Both of them have played for England on the international stage. Lauren has already won the Women’s Super League four times and finished as FIFA World Cup runners-up with England in 2023.
Meantime, Reece has won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea FC.
“Both of us are supportive of each other, where I will go to his games and he will go to my games when he can. We kind of leave each other to it, though. Anything to do with football, we both know what we need to do, so we just leave the other one to it. But outside of football, we have a great relationship, and we are really close. I think with our age gap, that helps, with it only being two years,” Lauren once shared via England Football.

Dola Banerjee and Rahul Banerjee | Archery (India)
Indian archery has been blessed with the Banerjee siblings, Dola and Rahul. Both have showcased exceptional talent in international archery competitions.
Dola Banerjee, a seasoned archer, has earned accolades and medals, including gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2010, Bronze in the Asian Games and Asian Championship, and a Gold medal at the 2007 Dubai World Cup.
Rahul Banerjee, her brother, was the First Indian Archer to win gold at CWG and a team bronze medal. Rahul has one Asian Games and three Asian Championship medals to his name.
