Ten years have passed since we teared up at the court scene in Deiva Thiru magal where the intellectually-challenged character of Vikram named Krishna reunites with his daughter. The movie, directed by AL Vijay is a remake of a 2001 Hollywood film I Am Sam. Vikram and Sara Arjun excelled with their chemistry as father-daughter. Here is a list of few films where you could watch doting, kindhearted fathers just like Krishna.

But her mother is an LTTE rebel in Sri Lanka who is in hiding. Will they be able to find her? Will she take back Amudha? All these questions are answered in the climax.

To make her happy and to give her a better life he decides to work in a town away from their village.

But Sathyadev decides not to run anymore. He will finish this once and for all for his daughter’s sake.

Vijay plays the role of a charming father with Baby Nainika as Nivi, his daughter. They are living in Kerala peacefully running a bakery. But some local ruffians insults her and Vijay intervenes. Sathyaraj as Murugesan who wants his daughter to play in Indian Cricket team is unforgettable. He essays the role of a poor farmer, affectionate man and helpless father effectively. He wants to support his daughter’s dream of becoming a cricket player. He doesn’t care about what others talk or want about his daughter. The only problem is that he cannot financially support her dreams. The film depicts a father’s struggle and a daughter’s resolve.

Amudhavan returns from Dubai to take care of his daughter with defective muscular health after his wife runs away. He starts to take care of her although he finds it difficult to connect with her after a decade. Mammooty flawlessly essays the role of a hurting Amudhavan who feels helpless about his daughter.
