10 years of Deiva Thirumagal; 8 doting fathers to watch in Tamil

Ten years have passed since we teared up at the court scene in Deiva Thiru magal where the intellectually-challenged character of Vikram named Krishna reunites with his daughter. The movie, directed by AL Vijay is a remake of a 2001 Hollywood film I Am Sam. Vikram and Sara Arjun excelled with their chemistry as father-daughter. But her mother is an LTTE rebel in Sri Lanka who is in hiding. Will they be able to find her? Will she take back Amudha? All these questions are answered in the climax.

To make her happy and to give her a better life he decides to work in a town away from their village.

But Sathyadev decides not to run anymore. He will finish this once and for all for his daughter’s sake.

The only problem is that he cannot financially support her dreams. The film depicts a father’s struggle and a daughter’s resolve.
