Playing unconventional heroine characters in most of her movies, Nimisha has proved that her talent and craft is second to none. Today, with 10 movies to her name, her future looks promising. With her playing pivotal roles in both Malik and Thuramukham, both set for a release, we take a look at six films where Nimisha Sajayan glittered.

Directed by Dileesh Pothan, the movie follows a married inter-caste couple who move to Kasargode. The story takes off as a thief steals and swallows Sreeja’s gold chain during a bus journey. Sreeja is Nimisha Sajayan’s introduction to Malayalam cinema, and one that cemented her role in the industry. A movie that combines drama and subtle humour, it also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Fahadh Faasil.

Nayattu is a political thriller that stays true to its title. Directed by Martin Prakkat, the movie revolves around three cops who are pushed into an unexpected situation days before a major election. The movie is a fast-paced chase throughout with Kunchacko Boban and Joju George joining Nimisha Sajayan in the lead cast.
