Only a few days are left for Bigg Boss OTT to stream on Voot. This time, the show is getting a new host and it's none other than ace filmmaker Karan Johar. Although it's his debut on the reality show, KJo is no stranger to the world of reality shows on both TV and OTT. He made his debut as a host nearly two decades back with his show Koffee With Karan. Since then, Karan became a regular face on television. He has been a part of every other leading reality shows mostly as a judge. 

Moreover, KJo made his Netflix debut with a dating show called What the Love! With Karan Johar and also a radio show titled Calling Karan. In 2020, KJo presented and also appeared in a show many loved to hate and also binge-watched - Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives

The filmmaker is known for his vibrant nature and having animated interaction with people. Now that he is hosting Bigg Boss OTT before Salman Khan, the reality show will definitely witness a change. The approach both the celebs have are poles apart and will bring out a fresh flavour to look forward to.

Although it won't be his first appearance on the show as Karan marked his presence as a celebrity guest in a few seasons. The filmmaker also said that his mother Hiroo Johar and he watch the show religiously and they are huge fans.

Started in 2003, the show witnessed leading celebs from the world of movies, TV series, sports and others indulging in a conversation. The series became an instant hit as fans got to see a different side of the celebs. However, Karan brought in a fair share of controversy which left a mark on the celebs but never meddled with the TRP charts. The series is indeed a guilty pleasure, because who doesn't like to know about celebs' personal lives?!

Karan Johar judged the dance-based reality show in seasons five and six. The self-proclaimed Bollywood fan brought in his tadka in the reality show where he was joined by Madhuri Dixit-Nene. KJo was in his usual element by showcasing his thumkas, right judgements and many more.

Although the series was much-hyped it couldn't resonate with the viewers and didn't leave an impressive mark.
Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives

The reality series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives was loved and hated by masses but not many could ignore watching it. Featuring Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey and Seema Khan, the show focuses on their personal and professional lives. Not just that, Karan Johar makes an in-and-out appearance throughout the series where they interact with them, play games and also host a big Bollywood bash. The series is on the lines of Keeping up with the Kardashians and showed the extravagant lifestyle these star wives lead on.
