Popular actor Rushad Rana has a busy year. After Modern Love: Mumbai and Aashram 3, he is now gearing up for another web series, Miya Biwi Aur Murder. Directed by Sunil Manchanda, the show will feature him in a never-seen-before avatar. He plays the role of a gangster in the suspense comedy thriller, which stars Rajeev Khandelwal and Manjari Fadnnis in the lead roles. The show will be released on MX Player on July 1.

Rushad Rana also recommends fans to watch Aashram from Season 1 if they haven't watched it already. The actor is part of the show in its recently-released Season 3. Directed by Prakash Jha, the show stars Bobby Deol, Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Vikram Kochhar and Tridha Choudhury, among others. The show revolves around a fake Godman Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol), who has a huge mass following. The show premiered on MX Player on 28 August, 2020. It is written by Madhvi Bhatt, Avinash Kumar, Sanjay Masoomm, Tejpal Singh Rawat and Kuldeep Ruhil. The show landed in several controversies and was accused of defaming Hindu sentiments by right wing groups. After a successful third season, the show has been renewed for Season 4.

Miya Biwi Aur Murder

The series Miya Biwi Aur Murder is an upcoming suspense comedy thriller on MX Player. Directed by Sunil Manchanda, the show is about an unhappy and dysfunctional married couple who get into trouble. The couple are forced to set aside their differences as they try to get out of the dreadful situation with devious thieves, dreaded gangsters, blackmailing police officers and a delusional maid. As people get poisoned, shots get fired and dead bodies pile on, Miya and Biwi will have to stick together to survive the night. Will they be able to do it or will they fall victim to the circumstances is what needs to be seen.
