Starring Sanjay Dutt, Gracy Singh and Arshad Warsi, the movie is all about a goon, who sets out to become a doctor to fulfil his father’s dream. The movie was a major commercial and critical success, which was followed by a sequel in 2006, and a third instalment announced in 2019.

The 2009 comedy-drama adapted loosely from Chetan Bhagat’s novel Five Point Someone, revolves around the life of three friends in an engineering college. The movie starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi, is one of the top satires about the social pressure of Indian education. Besides being a huge commercial success, the movie brought an impact on the country’s education system, won many honours including three National Awards, and still is a popular watch among audiences.
