Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas surprised the whole world by announcing they were embracing parenthood via surrogacy. 

Recently, the actor discussed being a new parent in a conversation with YouTube personality-turned-talk show host Lilly Singh. 

"As a new parent right now, I keep thinking about that I will never be imposing my desires, fears, my upbringing on to my child. I have always believed that children come through you not from you. There is no belief like this is my child and I will shape everything. They come through you to find and build their own life. Recognising that really helped me, my parents were very non-judgemental in a certain way," said Priyanka, according to Hindustan Times. 

It's a brand new chapter in their lives, but onscreen, Priyanka has portrayed a mother in multiple films. The actor was seen as a single mother to a bratty daughter in Pyaar Impossible. She also featured as a mother to two grownups alongside Farhan Akhtar in The Sky Is Pink. Not just that, in her Hollywood feature, A Kid Like Jake, the actor played the role of a single mother.
