Chef
Chef is an effortless feel-good film that will have your mouth watering at the sight of everything that Jon Favreau's character whips up. It's almost a crime if you haven't watched this film already. There's also an abysmal Hindi remake of this film with Saif Ali Khan that should be avoided at all costs.
2
Ratatouille
It's a hilarious and wholesome animated watch where a rat lives his dream of becoming a French chef by being a guide to a young sous chef while hiding under his toque. The sequence where the snotty food critic is transpoted back to his mother's cooking is a sequence that will resonate with most of us.
3
Chocolat
A chocolatière arrives and sets shop in a quaint French town. Though her little venture is frowned upon by the conservative townspeople, they eventually warm up to her and the luscious treats she creates.

Julie & Julia
This rom-com spans across two different timelines — one where Julia Child is on her way to redefine French food for Americans, and another where a younf writer Julie attemps to cook all the recipes in the former's mammoth cookbook. The food looks so mouth-watering, one only wishes to jump into the film and grab a bite.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi
This documentary profiles the sushi master Jiro Ono, his regimented lifestlye in order to produce the best service and quality of sushi for his customer, and his sons striving to live up to his legacy and being his successors one day.
