Born on this day in the Kapoor family, Karishma Kapoor made her debut with Prem Qaidi in 1991. While she became a star in Bollywood with hit movies throughout the following years, Raja Hindustani in 1996 made her a mainstay in the following years. She then went on to star in multiple box office biggies, and win multiple awards including the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for her role in Dil To Pagal Hai. Even though Karisma’s career eventually slowed down, fans’ love for her remained strong, thanks to a number of unforgettable movies. As the actor celebrates her birthday today, here are six unforgettable Karisma Kapoor movies to watch on her birthday. 

Raja Hindustani
One of the biggest movies from the 90’s, Raja Hindustani stars Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. The movie revolves around a cab driver who marries a rich and sensitive woman against her parents’ wish. A great watch, this romantic-drama offers viewers Karisma at her best.

Dil To Pagal Hai
The heart goes crazy with this musical romance, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit along with Karisma. The movie is set around a musical dance troupe and a classic love triangle. The movie was a massive success following its release, and has since been a fan-favourite movie. With all the dance numbers, fashion and iconic music, this movie is one for the ages. Karisma, who is also known for her dancing skills, gave an evergreen performance with Le gai le gai song in the film. It also stars Akshay Kumar in a cameo role.
Andaz Apna Apna
While this hilarious comedy was not the biggest of hits following its release in 1994, the movie has since walked into cult status. Aamir Khan and Salman Khan play friends who are trying to woo the same girl, Raveena (Karisma). The movie always feels fresh and features all the stars at their comic best. Andaz Apna Apna would be a great choice if you want to laugh your hearts out on this special day. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.
