Vicky Kaushal turns a year older today and what better day to explore the actor’s career in the industry. Kaushal started his career as an assistant director to Anurag Kashyap, whom the actor considers one his ‘mentors’. From doing minor roles in Kashyap’s films, Kaushal got his breakthrough with a major role in 2015’s Masaan and has not looked back since.

The actor is not one to shy away from putting his body through the wringer for his roles and is known for the amount of work he puts in to authentically essay his characters.
