Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr., aka Jr.NTR aka Tarak is one of the most beloved young stars in the Indian film industry today. From making his acting debut as a child actor in 1991’s Brahmarshi Vishwamitra to playing a youngster in the 2001 Telugu movie, Ninnu Choodalani, Tarak has come a long way today, and is one of the highest earning Telugu stars. He is currently gearing up for the release of his film, directed by Koratala Siva. As the actor celebrates his 39th birthday today, here are six of his movies to celebrate this day with.

Koratala Siva’s action thriller has Jr. NTR play an environmental activist who is recruited by the leader of a group who takes matters of law enforcement into his own hands for the less powerful people in the society. Soon stories about the past unravel before he has to take over the organisation. Mohanlal also appears in the movie along with Samantha and Nithya Menen.

S.S. Rajamouli’s latest, RRR is the story of two heroic men who are fighting their own fights during the British Raj. Starring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead, the movie has action, drama, romance and everything we come to expect from a Rajamouli movie.
