Salman Khan's movies which turned into franchises
By Shaheen

Last Updated:

His peers might be working on newer films but Salman Khan has three franchises in his kitty. The actor’s movie Radhe, too, happens to be part of his movie franchise, or at least, is related to his previous film Wanted in more ways than one.

Khan, who was last seen in Dabangg 3, has two other franchises in his kitty - Kick and Tiger franchise. He is yet to begin work on both of them. In fact, he is yet to announce the new title of his Tiger franchise. This would be the third installment of the film.

Here are some of the franchises he worked in...

1

Dabangg

Khan turned into a fun cop with Dabangg. As the name suggests, he plays fearless ‘Robinhood Pandey’ in the film. The 2010 release marked ‘Rajjo’ Sonakshi Sinha’s debut in Bollywood. Three installments of the film have released so far, and all of them saw Pandey and Rajjo’s pairing. Dabangg can be streamed on Netflix in India, while Dabangg 2 is streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Dabangg 3 has also released on Amazon Prime Video.

Kick

5.1
Kick saw Khan do what he does best - be a villain for a good cause. He managed to impress the audiences with his role of Devi Lal Prasad (Devil) in the film which marked Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut directorial. Now the makers are waiting to release the second installment of the film. Kick can be viewed on Disney+Hotstar.

Ek Tha Tiger

Khan played the rogue RAW agent, Tiger, in the film Ek Tha Tiger. The movie, which released in 2012, also saw Katrina Kaif in the role of Zoya, a rogue ISI agent. After falling in love, they pursued a career by themselves. The storyline was adapted once again for Tiger Zinda Hai, which released in 2018. This time around, Zoya had an equally powerful role. Ek Tha Tiger is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, Tiger Zinda Hai can be viewed on YouTube premium.

Judwaa

6.3
Khan originally played the dual role of Prem and Raja in David Dhawan’s Judwaa. It was the story of twin brothers who went through the same experiences - happiness, sadness, pain - together, even if they are miles apart. The entertainer was a massive hit among the audiences when it released in theatres in 1997. Years later, Varun Dhawan reprised the role and Khan played a cameo in the film, Judwaa 2. While Judwaa can be viewed on Voot, Judwaa 2 can be streamed on Disney+Hotstar.
