Before Sunrise is a romance drama directed by Richard Linklater in 1995. The movie revolves around Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Céline (Julie Delpy) who meet each other on a train from Budapest.
The two easily strike a conversation and learn that Jesse was going to Vienna to catch a flight back to the United States whereas Céline was returning to university in Paris after visiting her grandmother. The two decided to roam around Vienna and talk. As the day progressed the two got closed and more comfortable with each other.
Jesse and Céline shared a kiss during sunset on top of the Wiener Riesenrad. We learn that Céline just broke up with her boyfriend and Jesse with his girlfriend. Jesse bought a ticket back home but the flight wasn’t until two week so he decided to travel via Eurorail. Jesse tells Céline that he would rather marry her than never see her again. The next day when Céline is about to leave, the couple decides to not exchange any contact information but meet each other at the same place after six months.
