Bony

The sci-fiction Bengali movie centres around a couple living their best life in Milan. Sabyasachi, essayed by Parambrata Chatterjee, is an engineer and his wife, Pratibha (Koel Mullick), is a bio-scientist. All goes well in their life until their first born is suspected to be a humanoid. Sabyasachi and Pratibha are informed by the doctors that their child won’t have the ability to ither walk or speak. However, the child has ruby-red eyes and is believed to have superpowers. The child, named Bony, becomes a target for authorities and Sabyasachi is accused of having links with terrorist outfits. The film has also been directed by Chatterjee, and is based on Bengali writer Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay’s novel of the same name. Bony also stars Anjan Dutt and Kanchan Mallick in key roles.
