Bright

Bright is a 2017 American urban fantasy action film directed by David Ayer and written by Max Landis. This is a story about a world where fictional characters do exist and humans live with orcs and elves. While magic does prevail but it is illegal to use. LAPD police officer Dayl Ward is the first human cop having orc police officer Nick Jackboy as a partner. In a mission together, Ward is shot by an orc and Nick fails to capture him which leads to everyone questioning his loyalty. Hence, Ward and Nick go on a mission to catch the fellow orc and unfold a series of mysteries including that there is a prophecy and Ward is gifted with special powers.
