Chandi Veeran

This romantic drama film follows a story involving a social problem between the neighboring villages due to water. Paari loses his father with regard to this problem but realizes it being a persistent battle when he returns from Singapore as a young man. This Tamil movie with Atharva as Paari and Anandhi as Thamarai have been rated less than three by most of the critics for its wavering narration. The movie seemed to start off with the problem of water scarcity but was caught being too preachy and ungraceful film making. While some of the other observers have critically acclaimed and praised A.Sarkunam for a decent plot and direction.
