Chanthupottu

Chanthupottu, directed by Lal Jose is a 2005 Malayalam comedy drama film.The movie revolves around bending gender stereotypes. Radhakrishnan is a man who was brought up like a girl & his name changes to Radha. He ends up falling in love with his childhood friend Malu. Kumaran beats up Radha because he wants Malu to himself. Radha is found by a restaurant owner, Freddy who took him in. Radha turns more manly and comes back to the village. Radha and Kumaran had a fight and Radha won and also finds out that Malu is pregnant with his baby. Comedy and drama follows due to these situations.
