Though paranormal elements and supernatural subjects are not new to cinema, but with Eeram, audiences and critics have experienced a whole new impact, suspense, and scenes that make you cling to the edge of the seat. Eeram was released in 2009 under the genre of supernatural and crime thriller directed by Ariavazhagan. This Tamil movie explores a dead woman's spirit, who is out for revenge and makes each of them pay for the dirty plan, which led her to death. Vasu, played by Aadhi, is in the character of a police officer investigating the uncertain and weird murders. The horrible truth lurking in the past reveals the reason behind the murder spree. Aadhi and Sindhu Menon in the leads were successful to garner positive reviews, and Eeram came out to become the superhit blockbuster.
