Directed by Sebastian Meise, the Austrian drama film is set in post-World War II Germany. The movie centres around Hans, who is imprisoned repeatedly for being gay, and his cellmate Victor, a convicted murderer who is in prison for the long haul. They form a relationship after Victor helps cover Hans' camp number on his forearm. Their relationship is affected throughout by Viktor's deep-rooted homophobia and Paragraph 175, the law which criminalizes homosexuality. Despite all this, Hans and Viktor develop an unlikely bond. The cast includes Franz Rogowski, Georg Friedrich, Anton von Lucke and Thomas Prenn.
