Gulaal

Gulaal, a 2009 movie, is directed by Anurag Kashyap starring Kay Kay Menon, Raj Singh Chaudhary, and Jesse Randhawa.  The movie involves political activities, injustice, and betrayal. Dilip  is being ragged in a university by a gang led by Jadwal. While Dilip’s brother asks him to move on, his friend Ransa urges him to take revenge. Although both Ransa and Dilip decide to attack Jadwal, they are beaten and kicked out of the hostel by Jadwal and his gang.  Later, Dukey Banna played by Kay Kay Menon, a local political leader provides protection to Dilip and Ransa against Jadwal. Although Ransa participates in the General Secretary elections at the university against Kiran, he ends up murdered by Karan when he denies withdrawing his name.
