Kalavu Thozhirchalai, written and directed by T. Krishnasamy is an epic heist film which was released in 2013. The movie goes around an idol heist in a village in Tanjore and a chase between the officials and the criminals. Ram Sanjay recruits a local, Ravi to help him steal the ancient Maragatha Lingam idol from Marundeeswarar Temple. They succeed in stealing the statue but the government assigns the case to Irfan , a police officer from the Special Task Force who is right at their tale. Will they get away or not?
