Kia and Cosmos

Directorial debut of Sudipto Roy brings Kia & Cosmos, an English-Bengali film starring Ritwika Pal, Mita Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee & Joy Sen Gupta. The film is loosely inspired by the ‘Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time’ by Mark Haddon. Kia, a 15 year old teenage girl is living with her single mother peacefully until one day she finds her neighborhood cat disappeared, so she takes it upon herself to investigate the abnormal disappearance. Kia's detective nature has a lot to do with her hobbies and behavior. She loves detective novels and is often calculative because of her love for numbers. The film sets up the base for Kia by characterizing her and then putting her in an investigative situation.
