Lagaam

Lagaam, directed by Pinu Nayak, depicts the brutal story of the plight of migrant workers and their punishing journeys from cities to their villages during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.  

The story and dialogues of the film have been written by Ranjit Kumar Sahoo who has also produced the film.   

The film stars Bollywood actors Amlan and Tamanna in lead roles. They are more than ably supported by various other actors such as Harihara Mohapatra, Pradyumna Lenka, Prithiviraj, Acharya Kamal, Bhavna, Rashmi Padhi and Radheshyam Mishra, among others.  

The songs for the film have been written by Janmejaya Panda and Tapu Nayak and composed by Abhijit Majumdar.
