More Than Robots

The Disney+ Hotstar documentary follows four teams of teenagers from all around the world, like Mexico City, Chiba, Japan and Los Angeles, assembling for the 2020 First Robotics Competition. They undertake a unique way of designing to win the highly competitive global championship. It becomes harder as they have to face challenges like limited resources within their community and the halt because of the worldwide pandemic. Directed by Gillian Jacobs, the documentary is produced by Jason Sterman, Brian McGinn and David Gelb.
