Mukta

Directed by Jabbar Patel, Mukta is 1994 Marathi language film starring Reema Lagoo, Sonali Kulkarni, Vikram Gokhale & Shreeram Lagoo. Mukta comes back from the US to pursue her degree in sociology and she stays with her grandfather, Abasaheb Kanase Patil for the time being. Mukta becomes engrossed in her college theatre group where she meets Milind Wagh. She is immediately attracted by his presence and wants to approach him. Julian, Mukta's friend comes over to India and instantly establishes connection with the grandfather by taking him to the pilgrimage, where they share a conversation about their respective National movements which brought change.
