Raja Singam

Inspired by Razakar movement and freedom fighter Suddala Hanmanthu's story, Rajasingam (Rajanna in Telugu) narrates the tale of the brave man (Nagarjuna) who killed over 100 British officers to live in a free India. The film moves in flashback, as Rajasingam's daughter (played by Baby Annie) is captured with her music teacher in the Nelakondapalli village of Khammam district in the 1940s Hyderabad, led by an aristocratic family head (in this case, Shwetha Menon's character). They planned to escape and meet Jawaharlal Nehru at Delhi, who can drive away the aristocratic family. Rajasingam's daughter plans to impress Nehru with her singing, thus making her deceased father proud and everybody in the village happy.
