Salma

Salma is an Urdu language Indian film. The film is a musical romantic film written by Gulshan Nanda and Tabish Sultanpur, directed and produced by Ramanand Sagar under the banner of Sagar Arts. It was released in 1985. Bappi Lahiri gave music to the film and the cast of the film includes Raj Babbar, Farooq Shaikh, Pradeep Kumar, Sujit Kumar, Prema Narayan, Shoma Anand, Sushma Seth, and Salma Agha. Salma is a Lucknow-based film, a story about Nawabzada Aslam, he lives with his father and mother. Aslam lives a wealthy life and falls in love with Salma Banarsi, a Courtesan. His father promised him to Mumtaz, his cousin.
