Smile Please

Directed and written by Vikram Phadnis, Smile Please is a Marathi drama film released in the year 2019. The film stars Mukta Barve, Prasad Oak, Satish Alekar, Aditi Govitrikar, Trupti Khamkar, Bijay Anand, Vedashri Mahajan, Mayuresh Wadkar and Lalit Prabhakar. The film represents the story of an award winning photographer named Nandini, performed by Mukta Barve. As Nandini’s family neglects her, she gets diagnosed with early-onset dementia. She struggles with her life. Her ex-husband Shishir is concerned about her health but he thinks that this disease cannot be cured. A guy named Viraj who is living as a paying guest at his father’s house enters the life of Nandini. Viraj becomes a good friend of her and encourages Nandini to live life positively by smiling.
