The Hall: Honoring the Greats of Stand-Up

Marty Callner, who has a legendary catalogue of directing stand-up comedy shows for the likes of Robin Williams, Chris Rock and Will Ferrell, acts as producer and director for The Hall: Honouring the Greats of Stand Up. This comedy special brings together four of the most eminent comedians of the industry to honour the legacy of the great stand-up comedians who paved the way for them. The special features comedians Jon Stewart, John Mulaney, Chelsea Handler and Dave Chappelle as they honour George Carlin, Joan Rivers, Robin Williams and Richard Pryor, inducting them into “The Hall”. This ceremonial special was shot and conducted as part of the Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival, which brought together the world’s best comedians, including Kevin Hart, Tina Fey, Pete Davidson, Wanda Sykes, Conan O’Brien, Bill Burr and Patton Oswalt, for a 11-day celebration of the art of comedy.
