The Iron Giant

The Iron Giant is a 1999 American English - language directed by Brad Bird. It is an animated science fiction action film that stars the voices of Vin Diesel, Eli Marienthal, Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., Christopher McDonald and John Mahoney. It is based on the Ted Hughes’ 1968 novel named The Iron man. This movie follows the story of a nine-year-old boy named Hogarth Hughes. He meets an innocent alien giant robot that came from outer space and the two become friends. Meanwhile, a paranoid U.S. Government agent named Kent Mansley arrives in town with the intentions of destroying the giant. Now, it's Hogarth's responsibility to protect him by keeping him at Dean McCoppin's place in the junkyard.
