Graham Moore, who received widespread critical acclaim for his screenplay for the 2011 historical film, The Imitation Game, makes his directorial debut with The Outfit. This Crime-Drama tells the story of Leonard, an English tailor, who makes suits for a family of ruthless gangsters which leads him to entanglement with cutthroat criminals whom he must outsmart to survive one fateful, tense night. The film features an ensemble cast led by Mark Rylance portraying the protagonist Leonard, and is supported by actors the likes of Zoey Deutch, Johnny Flynn, Dylan O’Brien, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Simon Russell Beale. The film was written by Graham Moore, in collaboration with Johnathan McClain, with Cinematography from Dick Pope, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his works in 2004’s The Illusionist and 2014’s Mr Turner. The film made its World Premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival and garnered much critical acclaim.
