The Tamil action film is adapted from the award-winning South-Korean film Pietà (2012). The film focuses on a cold-hearted and ruthless henchman who works for a loan shark. His life goes upside down with the arrival of a mysterious woman claiming to be her mother. The plot takes through the protagonist adjusting to all the new developments in his life. The film stars Prabhu Deva, an Indian dance choreographer, film director, producer and actor as the lead. The supporting cast includes Samyuktha Hegde, Easwari Rao, Yogi Babu, Shatru, Imman Annachi and Bharani among others. Directed and written by Harikumar, the music is by C. Sathya.
