Train Again

 Peter Tscherkassy's new film condenses the kinetic energy of the railways into a hyperventilating sensory experience and gives a homage to the experimental cinema of Kurt Kren. The film conjures the frantic mania of the railways, punctuated with the explosive capabilities of the filmmaking medium. It is a historical negotiation and attempts a dizzying chronicle. Peter is best known for his found-footage techniques, woven with abstractions, amply evident in films such as Dream Work and Outer Space.
