Tum Bin

Tum Bin is a 2001 Indian Hindi - language film directed and written by Anubhav Sinha. It is a romantic drama film starring Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik and Raqesh Vashishth. After Amar Shah's accidental death in India, Canada-based Shah Industries is going to close soon. Pia, Amar's sweetheart, is crushed. Girdhari, Amar's dad, is in a big shock. Meanwhile Amar's sister and grandmother are in mourning. Months after Amar's death, a young man, Shekhar Malhotra, enters, and offers to re-built and restore Shah Industries without anything in return. He is given the chance, and he starts with the work of making Shah Industries viable again. Shekhar also finds a way to fill the void made by Amar's absence in everyone's mind, and he falls in love with Pia. Abhi Gyan is a wealthy Canadian industrialist, who wants to take-over Shah Industries, in order to marry Pia. Shekhar opposes this, while Pia is in favour of it, leading to all round bitterness. Then Abhi and Pia chance upon evidence that Shekhar had an ulterior motive in befriending Pia and the Shah family. Shekhar must now defend himself, or stand to lose Pia and the Shah family's trust.
