Every anime lover, or Otaku (a word originated in Japan that describes the anime and manga nerd), knows that Netflix is the source to look up to when it comes to watching, or at the very least, beginning a manga series. Now the OTT giant has also announced a lineup of game-based series that all the geeks (and probably the weebs) can look out for.
From Castlevania to Resident Evil, this platform is set to provide everything that nerds would love to view. Here are some of the series to look out for…
Castlevania
The Castlevania series recently streamed on Netflix. The franchise has now grown big and will see the story of Sophie and Trevor’s great, great, great son Richter Belmont and Maria Renard during the French Revolution.
Resident Evil
The live-action series has a spin-off in Albert Wesker: Lance Reddick. The same had appeared previously on The Wire, Bosch and in John Wick movies as hotel concierge Charon.
Splinter Cell
Based on the Ubisoft Games, Splinter Cell will revolve around US Navy SEAL Sam Fisher after he works for the Third Echelon division. It is an eight-episode season that is expected to be full of edge-of-the-seat moments.
Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix
Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is a Far Cry 3 expansion based on, you guessed it, Blood Dragon. The season will have six episodes and is currently in search for the creative team.
WitcherCon
Paying tribute to none other than The Witcher, Netflix announced WitcherCon during its Geeked Week.
Arcane
Arcane is a show based on League of Legends, which is one of the most-followed online game
Cuphead
Apart from the above mentioned, Netflix is also releasing an animated series called Cuphead. The OTT giant unveiled the teaser for the same.
