November 18 was a field day for actress Krithi Shetty, who has been growing from strength to strength ever since her first film Uppena had a blockbuster run in theatres earlier this year. She's part of every notable project being announced in the industry and two of her upcoming Telugu films are already getting ready for release - Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju. While Krithi's paired alongside Nani in Shyam Singha Roy, she unites with an ensemble cast in Bangarraju that comprises Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishna.

While Shyam Singha Roy is hitting theatres in all South Indian languages on December 24 on the eve of Christmas, Bangarraju is almost certain to hit theatres for Sankranti 2022 (on January 15,2022). The teaser of the Nani starrer was grandly launched by top celebrities like Siva Karthikeyan, Nazriya Nazim, Rakshit Shetty across Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages respectively. Even the Telugu teaser was released amidst huge crowds in AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad with the cast and crew in attendance.

Krithi Shetty was only seen briefly in the Shyam Singha Roy teaser, but it was enough to get movie lovers excited about her presence. The other surprise for her came in the form of her first look in Bangarraju, where she's cast in the role of Nagalakshmi. She looks regal in her sari, holding her shades in her left hand, waving her hand to crowds, as if she were campaigning ahead of an election. The look leaves audiences curious and it's a good gesture from the part of Bangarraju team to begin the promotions by launching her first look.

She's also part of Nithiin's Macherla Niyojikavargam, Linguswamy's actioner with Ram Pothineni and another project directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, where she's cast opposite Sudheer Babu. A lot of her co-actors are full of praise for her abilities as a performer and predict a rosy future for her in cinema. Has Telugu cinema found its Alia Bhatt? We'll know soon.
