Actor Adil Hussain expressed his pain and heartbreak over the disturbing visuals of the political unrest in Bangladesh. The Ulajh actor took to his social media and asked India to do more to help the victims in Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on August 5 but Bangladesh is still on fire. Meanwhile, Bangladeshi Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus took charge of Bangladesh’s interim government. However, the situation is still tense there leading to bloodbaths. After Hasina’s resignation, there were incidents of attacks on minorities and other people. On his X account, Adil tweeted, “Heart-Wrenching visuals from Bangladesh. The Attacks and Atrocities on Minority communities and on others in Bangladesh are Shocking! India must do more to Protect them.”

He further added, “I stand with the Pains and Sufferings of the Victims. And I urge the Perpetrators to Stand Down. They should hang their heads in shame for their actions. All political leaders, especially Muslim leaders of India must, must call out these protestors.” Indian netizens agreed to this post. One wrote ‘At last some Bollywood actor got vocal. Kudos to you.’ Many people thanked him for clearly stating the facts.
