Aditi Shankar debuts as singer with Ghani, ahead of her acting debut in Viruman

Aditi Shankar, daughter of ace filmmaker Shankar, was in the news previously with her starring in Viruman with Karthi in the lead. The actor has now confirmed that she will debut as a singer, before her acting debut. 

Taking to social media, Aditi Sankar confirmed that she is making her singing debut with the song titled Romeo Juliet from Varun Tej’s upcoming sports drama Ghani. “Waited so long to share this with you all. Another dream come true”, she wrote, in a Twitter post, as she also thanked S Thaman, who has composed the song for the movie. 

The song is set to be released by the makers of the movie on February 8, and music composer Thaman also took to Twitter yesterday to confirm its release and also called the song his favourite from the upcoming movie. 

As mentioned by Thaman, the song will be a peppy number, which has a mix of EDM and Salsa. 

Directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati, Ghani is a much-awaited sports drama with Varun Tej in the lead. The movie has had fans taking notice, with Tej in a new makeover. The songs from the movie have been received with a lot of attention so far, and Romeo Juliet is expected to do the same. 

Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead in the movie, which also stars Naveen Chandra, Naresh, Jagapathi Babu, Suneil Shetty, Nadhiya and Upendra, among others. 

While Shankar is working on the family action drama Viruman with Karthi in the lead and directed by M. Muthaiah, the actor has also signed up for Corona Kumar starring Silambarasan and directed by Gokul.
