After social comedies, Ayushmann Khurrana’s next with Aanand L Rai will be an action drama

Ayushmann Khurrana’s collaboration with Aanand L Rai had previously wowed the audience in movies like Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. Now, their third project is going to be an action drama, titled Action Hero, that is jointly produced by Aanand L Rai under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series films. The cast and crew of the movie are yet to be finalised. The upcoming movie is going to be filmed in the UK.

Ayushmann Khurrana has several other movies under his belt like Doctor G, for which he is currently filming. The female lead of the movie is Rakul Preet Singh. This is the first movie where they will be paired together on screen. The movie, like all the other movies of Khurrana, is touted to be a social drama. It also stars Shefali Shah in an important role.

According to an IANS report, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed that he had represented our country aptly through his movies that have resonated well with Indians in the country, Indians all over the world and people who want to know more about India. He also said, “I try to tell stories that are essentially rooted in the Indian microcosm and are about real people and their real lives in our culturally diverse country.”

Ayushmann Khurrana’s next upcoming movie will be Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui alongside Vaani Kapoor which is directed by Abhishek Kapoor. He will also be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Anek.
