Ajay Devgn’s Rudra song Inaam: Ananya Birla tried to embody intensity of character’s mind

Ananya Birla’s Rudra song Inaam was unveiled on March 2. The track, featuring lead actor Ajay Devgn, has become very spoken about. A well-known indie singer, Ananya now says that she tried to embody the intensity of Rudra’s mind for the song.

Not just the intensity, Ananya said that she tried to embody the emotions of Rudra into the song too. She revealed so during an interview with ANI.

Ananya also said that she is a huge fan of the original show that Rudra: The Edge of Darkness has been inspired from. The Ajay Devgn starrer is adapted from the British series Luther.

Inaam also happens to be the title track for Rudra. While talking about the song, Ananya added that it ‘goes seamlessly with the show.’

Luther revolved around detective John Luther (played by Idris Elba)’s meeting with his now-partner. Luther ends up befriending a psychopath, who was accused of murder but released on the basis of lack of suspicion. The series is so twisted that Luther and the suspect join hands to solve various cases as a team of two.

Rudra marks Ajay’s debut in OTT series. The show stars Esha Deol and Raashi Khanna as the female leads. It also features actors Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles.

The series is among of the most-awaited considering an actor of Ajay Devgn’s stature will be making his web series debut with it. Rudra will be releasing on Disney+Hotstar.

Six episodes from the series will be out at once. The show can be streamed from March 4 onwards.

Considering the buzz, Rudra is expected to be one of the biggest web series in terms of views in 2022. It would be interesting to see if the show can match the standards and if yes, then if any other series can beat that.
