If the buzz in the industry is to go by, a crucial scene from Ajith's upcoming film, which is tentatively being referred to as AK61, is all set to be shot at Araku Valley in Visakhapatnam. We hear that a crucial bike stunt will be canned in the location. The team has been scouting locations for the same for quite some time now and finally zeroed in on Araku Valley. Ajith will be part of the crucial scene which will be packed with high-octane energy. Soon after the team winds up the portion in Araku Valley, they will be heading to a hill station for the rest of the shoot.

AK61 is directed by H Vinoth, who had earlier helmed Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai and the film is touted to be a heist thriller. Manju Warrier, who plays the leading lady in the film, will be teaming up with Ajith for the first time. The actress had stated that she liked the script and which is why she agreed to be part of the project. Manju had made her Tamil debut with Vetri Maaran's Asuran and starred opposite Dhanush. The supporting cast includes Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera, Ajay and Nayana Sai.

Music for the film is by Ghibran. This is the first time that Ghibran will be scoring music for an Ajith film. Though the film was earlier supposed to be released for Diwali, but there has been a delay in shoot and it looks like the release will be pushed by a couple of months. Fans are wondering if the film would release for Christmas or Pongal. Vijay's Varisu is slated for Pongal release and it would be interesting if both the films clash at the box office.

In the meantime, fans are awaiting the title release of the film, which is said to be announced soon. The film is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, who had earlier produced Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai as well.
