Director Ali Abbas Zafar, who is collaborating with Shahid Kapoor on an untitled action film, announced the shoot's wrap today.
Zafar took to Instagram and shared a picture from the film's set where an action stunt using a car is in progress.
"Action has always been one of my favourite genres and the thrill of making action movies on set is even a greater experience," he wrote in the caption, before thanking Kapoor and the team.
The team began shooting for the Hindi film in November last year in the UAE, with both Zafar and Kapoor sharing their excitement to kickstart work.
Jio Studios is presenting the "stylized action-packed journey" in conjunction with AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment, and The Vermillion World.
The untitled project is reportedly a Hindi remake of the French film Nuit Blanche, which was released in 2011 and is about a cop and his partner who are caught taking cocaine from a powerful drug dealer. It has been remade in Tamil (Thoongaa Vanam) and Telugu (Cheekati Rajyam).
Not much is known about the other cast members of the untitled actioner, though Kapoor had shared a picture, which looked like a still from the film, on Zafar's birthday in January this year.
This is not the first time Kapoor has been the lead of a Hindi remake. He has starred in Kabir Singh (original Arjun Reddy), and his next is Jersey.
