Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun in the lead along with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil hit theatres in December of last year. The movie came out with a lot of hype and it is safe to say that it lived up to the hype. The pan-Indian movie went on to dominate the box office, with even its Hindi version doing brilliant business. After having already set a number of records at the box office following its release, the movie has now set a new record. 

The movie’s album has now garnered over 500 crore views, making Pushpa: The Rise the first pan-Indian movie to achieve this feat. The songs from the movie created a sensation around the country, going on to become chartbusters of the year. Oo Antava, featuring a special appearance by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Saami Saami were two of the most popular songs from the movie’s album, which was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Pushpa: The Rise tells the story of a man who goes from a woodcutter to one of the main faces of the illegal red sandalwood smuggling nexus in Andhra Pradesh. Having received rave reviews following its release, the movie went on to reportedly make a whopping Rs 322.6 crore at the domestic box office. 

Also starring Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh in supporting roles, the movie is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
