Amid the surrogacy issue, Vignesh Shivn “trains the mind to see good in everything”

In a series of cryptic posts, Vignesh Shivn discussed the significance of frustrating days. The actor shared a quote from director Ethan Coen on Instagram stories. Also, he reposted a message that discussed how the calibre of one's thoughts affect one's level of enjoyment in life.

Vignesh Shivn and Nayanthara have been in the news since they announced the birth of their twins on October 9.

The shared quote by Ethan on Vignesh's Insta story, read, “Like any kind of writing, there are good days. But even frustrating days can be rewarding, sometimes.” Ethan's quote was originally posted on a page, called Screencraft.

Another post shared by Vignesh read: “Train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.”

Since the subject of surrogacy came up, Vignesh has made further mysterious posts.

On October 14, he had reshared a post on Instagram Stories that read, “Choose people who will tell you what you need to hear even when it’s hard.” Again, the filmmaker did not explain, but fans felt it had to do with surrogacy.

Nayanthara and Vignesh submitted an affidavit and a marriage certificate to the Tamil Nadu health department, claiming they had their marriage legally recognised six years prior, according to a report on Onmanorama.com. Additionally, they have stated that Nayanthara's relative from the UAE is the surrogate.

The Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, passed in December of last year, stipulates that the surrogate must be a married relative who has her child and that the couple must have been wed for five years. For infertile Indian couples with a husband between the ages of 26 and 55 and a wife between the ages of 23 and 50, altruistic surrogacy is an option.

After dating for several years, Vignesh and Nayanthara were united in marriage on June 9. Their Chennai wedding was small and only their closest friends and family attended. Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale, the couple's wedding documentary, will soon be available on Netflix.

In terms of directing, Vignesh Shivn worked with Nayanthara on Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Naanum Rowdydhaan. The director's upcoming film with Ajith is tentatively titled AK62. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the soundtrack for the project, making this his fourth-time association with Ajith.

The movie will be funded by Lyca Productions, with a mid-2023 release date.
