Amitabh Bachchan to unveil the Hindi teaser of Mani Ratnam's most-awaited movie Ponniyin Selvan

It looks like team Ponniyin Selvan has upped their game in terms of promoting the prestigious project. After releasing character posters of four major actors, Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai and Trisha, they announced that the much-awaited film's teaser will be launched tomorrow in Chennai.

Movie lovers are eagerly waiting to know if the whole crew members would make it to the event which is expected to be a one-of -its-kind affair given the ensemble cast the project has. The technical crew, too, boasts of legends who are experts in their respective areas.

The team has now roped in none other than Amitabh Bachchan to release the film's Hindi teaser. The Bollywood veteran will be unveiling the same from his social media accounts at 6 pm tomorrow. Needless to say, film buffs hope that this move of the makers will attract the Bollywood audience.

With movies like Baahubali 2, KGF 2, RRR and Pushpa earning huge collections from the north box office, Kollywood movie lovers hope that makers shouldn't leave any stone unturned with regard to its marketing across the country.

As the movie is slated for a theatrical release on September 30, there is ample time for the team to promote the big budget venture in all the states in a unique manner. The benchmark set by Baabhubali franchise and RRR is too high, and that's exactly one of the challenges team Ponniyin Selvan would face in the coming weeks.

The team is yet to announce the release date of its second installment. It looks like the update will be made only after the reception to the first installment. Apart from Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Jayam Ravi, Ponniyin Selvan stars Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi and others essaying pivotal roles in it.
