Bollywood stalwart Amitabh Bachchan turned 80 years old today. The legendary actor, who has graced the silver screen for more than half a century, has earned his place as one of the most beloved and respected stars in the industry today. Naturally, Big B’s birthday was marked with wishes pouring in from fans and celebrities alike. The whos who of Bollywood, including several stars who have had the pleasure to work with Big B, made sure to send their wishes across to the veteran actor as well.
Amitabh will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial, Uunchai. His co-stars in the film, Anupm Kher and Boman Irani wished Big B on his birthday. While Anupam shared a photograph of himself with the actor, Boman shared a video of a midnight screening of Amar Akbar Anthony, where the crowd is seen singing Happy Birthday at midnight.
Amitabh was last seen in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye. To celebrate Big B’s birthday, the tickets to the film were priced at Rs 80 on October 11. Amitabh’s Goodbye co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who played his onscreen daughter, shared a BTS picture of the two of them together and wished him a Happy Birthday.
