"Anukoni Prayanam is my career-best film and it's the first time I'm tensed about my film's fate at the box office. The film has a beautiful story that tugs at your heart strings and I'm anxious about its performance. I experienced similar nervousness for Aa Naluguru and everyone were surprised that I was playing a serious role. The rest was history and I hope that history repeats for Anukoni Prayanam. The film is a story that unfolds during the lockdown revolving around two friends," Rajendra Prasad said.

The film is about an unexpected journey from Orissa to Rajahmundry. "The film isn't about the COVID-19 gloom alone and there are lot of heartfelt moments that could be savoured by one and all. We worked hard for the film and I'll be happy if people come to theatres to notice our effort. The fact that Narasimha Raju came on board for the film is a major sign of victory for us and his experience proved helpful. I congratulate the director, producer and technicians for their efforts," the actor added.

"This project wouldn't have happened without Rajendra Prasad. He's second to none while choosing author-backed roles and interesting scripts. He was a constant source of support. From Jagan Mohan to Venkatesh Pediredla to Siva Dinavahi, everyone in the team enthusiastically worked on it. I'm confident that people will come in good numbers to watch it on October 28," Narasimha Raju shared. Director Venkatesh Pediredla thanked the producer, Rajendra Prasad and called Anukoni Prayanam a feel-good film.

Writer, producer DY Jagan Mohan stated, "Rajendra Prasad will take audiences on a roller-coaster ride of emotions. The viewer will experience tension, laugh and on the whole, appreciate the effort. Anukoni Prayanam has a strong emotional base and I got to write the story during COVID-19 lockdown. Popular actors, technicians have worked on the film. I hope people like what we made."
