Anupam Kher pays a visit to Rajamouli's home in Hyderabad, felicitates the RRR filmmaker

The other day, we had reported that Anupam Kher has come on board for Telugu movie Tiger Nageswara Rao, which stars Ravi Teja in the lead. The veteran Bollywood actor will be seen playing a crucial character in the film which is billed as a pan Indian project.

Anupam is still in Hyderabad and the actor has met none other than Rajamouli and his wife Rama at their residence. He felicitated the RRR filmmaker with a shawl even as the latter's wife watches it with a smile on her face.

The video he posted on his Twitter page has him expressing his desire to honour the sensational director while the latter is a bit hesitant about it. But Anupam insists him to receive his gratitude and says on a light-hearted note that the felicitation act is to ensure that Rajamouli doesn't forget him.

He also posted a picture featuring him, Rajamouli and Rama, and thanked the couple for their warmth and delicious lunch. His tweet read, "Dearest #RamaJi and @ssrajamouli! Thank you for your love, warmth & delicious lunch at your place in Hyderabad! I was particularly happy to welcome you in your own house with a traditional shawl wrapping! I love your simplicity & humility. I feel blessed. So much to learn! (sic)."

Both Anupam and Rajamouli met a few months ago at the Goafest 2022 and had exchanged pleasantries. The former had then posted a picture of the two from his social media page and expressed happiness over the meeting.

He said that they had a great time talking about joint families, childhood stories, epics and life in cinema. Interestingly, Anupam's The Kashmir Files and Rajamouli's RRR are two of the biggest hits released this year in India.
