Anupamaa fans slam Baa for dress-shaming Barkha, say ‘thoda kapda kaat ke apne soch pe daal deti’

Surprise, surprise! Anupamaa fans are upset with Baa for trying to dress-shame Barkha in the latest episode of the popular show. Baa insulted Anupama’s in-laws (nothing new) at the Shah house and Anupamaa fans were upset over that.

Anupama’s new husband Anuj Kapadia entered Shah house to attend Kinjal’s baby shower. That is when Baa shamed Barkha for turning up in a saree, when she wore a ‘backless dress’ at the party earlier.

Seeing the episode, netizens were furious. One user actually asked Baa to cut the cloth and use it on her thoughts so people could not see the ‘gutter’ personality she is.

The rage increased when Baa told Barkha that she wouldn’t feel like an outcast at the Shah household. The irony is in the statement, when Baa already made Barkha feel like an outcast by dress-shaming her.

The users could not stand how Baa got away with insulting people younger to her every single time, while Anupama had no choice but to stand witness to everything and not do a thing about it. These internet users claimed that respect is basic and thus, Anupamaa should not normalize disrespecting others.

The big irony with this again, is that Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) had previously stood and be insulted by her then-husband Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey). Thankfully, the show has finally progressed and Anupama found true love in her childhood friend Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna), who is now her husband.

Anuj and Anupama will be performing the god bharai for Kinjal in Vanraj’s absence. Rakhi Dave has also taken the opportunity to taunt Vanraj for not filling in his duties as Kinjal’s grandfather. She points out how Anuj has stepped in for him and taken on the responsibility.

One thing is for sure. The drama on this show is never ending and there is more to come.
