Vishal Bhardwaj has earned his position as one of the most prominent Indian filmmakers working today thanks to his impressive collection of work. The director’s son, Aasmaan, is now set to make his debut as a director with Kuttey. Vishal has now announced the movie’s release date and it is all set to clash with Katrina Kaif’s Phone Bhoot.

Vishal took to Instagram to provide fans with the update about the release date. “KUTTEY is slated to release in cinemas on 4th November 2022. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan, Shardul Bhardwaj and Tabu. KUTTEY is directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaaj, Presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg, and Rekha Bhardwaj ,” read his post.

The movie was announced earlier last year, and the poster had caught the eye of fans. Arjun Kapoor, who is one of the members of the movie’s ensemble cast, recently talked about working with Aasmaan, saying that he is not looking to mimic his father and is different to Vishal. Aasmaan has previously assisted his father in 7 Khoon Maaf, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Pataakha.

Interestingly, the makers of Katrina Kaif’s Phone Bhoot announced yesterday that the movie’s release date has been preponed to November 4. This means that Kuttey is now all set to clash with the horror comedy.

Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter take the lead in Phone Bhoot, which also features Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadha, and Nidhi Bisht in important roles. The movie is helmed by Gurmmeet Singh and backed by Excel Entertainment.
